This Terms of Service Agreement (“Agreement") is entered into by and between you ("User") and PlatoAI operating the AI-backed admissions essay critique, rewrite, and matching software.

By using PlatoAI, you are agreeing to be bound by the terms of this agreement. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the tool.

SERVICES PROVIDED
PlatoAI provides AI-powered critiques, suggestions, matching, and rewrites for undergraduate college essays. These critiques are intended to aid in improving essay writing skills but are not a guarantee of acceptance to any institution.

REFUNDS
Refunds are currently contingent on a 15-minute exit call with a PlatoAI team member. Refunds are not available after a user has consumed more than half the usage limits provided by a plan. Refunds are at the discretion of the PlatoAI team and we hold the sole ability to cancel refund policies without notice.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content included in PlatoAI, such as text, graphics, logos, images, as well as the compilation thereof, and any software used on the Service, is the property of the Company or its suppliers and protected by copyright laws.

USER CONDUCT
You agree not to use the Tool for any unlawful purposes or to conduct any unlawful activity, including, but not limited to, fraud, embezzlement, money laundering, or identity theft.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
In no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with PlatoAI, whether or not we have been informed of the possibility of such damage.

SUBSCRIPTION AND PAYMENT PLAN EXPIRY
All one-time payment plan expire at the end of the academic semester. All subscriptions expire in accordance with their details at time of payment (usually monthly or semesterly). PlatoAI reserves the right to cancel subscriptions at will to safeguard PlatoAI business or customer interests.

ELIGIBILITY
You must be at least 12 years of age to use this Service. By using PlatoAI, you represent that you meet this minimum age requirement.

PRIVACY AND USER CONTENT
Your submission of personal information through the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is hereby incorporated by reference. We will not disclose your personal data or original content. In addition, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license (with the right to sublicense) to process and otherwise use your essay submissions to improve PlatoAI and our other services, and to generate aggregated insights or anonymized data.

This Agreement and any disputes related thereto shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules.

CHANGES TO THIS AGREEMENT
We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time, effective upon posting the amended terms and conditions on this site. If you continue to use PlatoAI after the amended terms and conditions have been posted, you will be deemed to have agreed to the amended terms and conditions.
